Abstract Person 1 Why Exhibit
DATIA's 5th Annual Conference and Exposition - "Strengthening the Industry With the Three R's - Responsibility, Reliability, Regulatory Compliance" - will be the drug and alcohol testing industry's biggest event of the year by far, providing attendees insight, information, and advocacy on issues that impact providers of drug and alcohol testing services. This year's agenda has been designed to motivate and provide concrete strategies to enable attendees to strengthen the industry through their responsibility, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Foremost among these issues are new federal regulations and guidelines that have a major effect on how workplace drug and alcohol testing is performed. The effects of new technologies and testing methodologies are part of this pending change, and will also be a focus of the conference agenda.

DATIA's attendees have indicated that the DATIA Exhibition area is their main means to learn of new products and to see first hand the new technologies available to them as a conscientious drug and alcohol testing service provider. DATIA's exhibitor return rate is testimony to the fact that exhibitors get more exposure at DATIA's Annual Conference than they do from other trade shows. Over 80% of exhibitors return to the DATIA Annual Conference and Exhibition year after year. As Mike Puente of Universal Toxicology Laboratories LLC, a previous exhibitor, stated "Great Show! We had a lot of traffic and closed several accounts. I will recommend your convention to others."

Abstract Person 2 If your exhibit requires electricity for lighting or computer equipment, an electrical outlet must be ordered in advance at the fee of $90 for all exhibiting days.

Booth Assignment
Booths are assigned by a point system. All 2001 Conference Sponsors will have first choice in selecting their preferred booth assignment. Points for each exhibiting company are accumulated for years of membership, membership level, years exhibited, and sponsorship of the conference. If more than one company has the same point total, the booth will be assigned amongst those companies with the same point totals on a first come first serve basis.

Converence Location
DATIA 2001 - "Strengthening the Industry with the Three R's" will be held at the Wigwam Resort in sunny Phoenix. A Mobil Five Star and AAA Four Diamond resort, the Wigwam offers attendees an authentic Arizona experience. In addition to the resort's Southwestern charm, the Wigwam boasts numerous onsite recreational activities including swimming, water volleyball, tennis, basketball, sand volleyball, bicycling, ping pong, croquet, shuffleboard, golf, and a health club with exercise equipment, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, and exquisite spa treatments.

The Wigwam is offering DATIA attendees a reduced rate of $135 single/double. Room reservations must be made by April 29, 2001 to receive the DATIA reduced rates. Getting There
Navigant International, DATIA's Official Travel Agency, is offering DATIA attendees reduced rates for travel to the Phoenix area on multiple airlines. To reserve your ticket, contact Navigant's Association Team at 800.284-1515 or AssociationTeam@tastg.com and identify yourself as a DATIA attendee to receive your discounted airfare. The Association Team of Navigant International is also equipped to assist you in reserving rental cars. The Wigwam Resort is located 25 minutes west of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

Datia 1st Annual Golf Tournament
Don't miss out on this first opportunity to mingle with your colleagues over a fun and challenging game of golf. The DATIA Golf Tournament will be played on the Wigwam's Blue Course - a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design that has helped the Wigwam earn the Golf Magazine Silver Medal Resort Award. The tournament will be held on Sunday, June 3rd with a starting tee time of 8:00am, followed by an awards luncheon for all participants. Participants will be paired according to their respective handicaps for this scramble tournament. All participants will receive a goodie bag containing a golf shirt, golf towel, golf ball, and other golf equipment. The tournament will feature Hole-In-One holes offering all participants the opportunity to win valuable prizes ranging from golf clubs to a new vehicle. Be sure to register early for the golf tournament as space is limited!

How to reserver your spot
To reserve your place at DATIA's 2001 Annual Conference and Exhibition, complete the Exhibitor/Sponsor Registration and return it to DATIA along with your deposit. An initial deposit of 50% must be included to hold your place, and final payment is due no later than April 13, 2001. Due to the show's past history of being sold-out, no space or event will be held without an initial deposit.

Should you need to cancel your exhibit booth or event sponsorship, DATIA must be notified in writing and the following refund policy applies: Abstract Person 3 Once your space/event has been reserved, it cannot be transferred to another company without DATIA's express written consent. Remember that your company will be listed on the conference web page once you have reserved your exhibit space and/or event, so register early!
