ODAPC Has a New Director
|

John A. Bobo, has been announced as the new Director of the Department Of Transportation’s (DOT) Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance (ODAPC). Previously, Mr. Bobo was the Director of the National Traffic Law Center since April 2002.
He has spoken out quite a bit on the drugged driving issue, and has quite an extensive legal background. View the bio of the new Director. DATIA looks forward to working closely with him in the future

Question: I will not be able to renew my certification before the June 1, 2004. Will I still be able to collect specimens when my certification expires.
Answer: Yes, you may still collect specimens, if your certification with DATIA expires. Also, all certified indiviudals have a 45 day grace period to renew after June 1, 2004.
