As usual, DATIA is striving to lead the drug and alcohol testing industry in providing educational programs. This year, DATIA will offer several new training opportunities, and we will unveil several new enhancements to existing programs.

Question: How long after the donor brings the specimen out of the restroom and places it on the counter do you wait to see if the temp will be in range?
Answer: Per section 40.65 (b)(1) of the Department of Transportation's (DOT) 49 CFR Part 40, "You must check the temperature of the specimen no later than four minutes after the employee has given you the specimen."
