| DATIA Submits Comments to Federal Aviation Administration |

DATIA recently submitted comments to the Federal Aviation Administration regarding the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for the Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Transportation’s amendments to the Disqualification for Airman and Medical Certificate Holders Based on Alcohol Violations and Refusals to Submit to Drug or Alcohol Testing.
Generally, DATIA supports and commends the FAA's proposals, however, DATIA does not see the need to make a refusal to submit to a pre-employment test a medically disqualifying factor. Question: Are there any other hotel properties at Disney where I can reserve rooms for DATIA's Annual Conference?
Answer: Yes, Disney's Caribbean Resort will accept DATIA Annual Conference attendees at the DATIA blocked room rate. Transportation will be provided between DATIA's host hotel, which is Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.
