DATIA is pleased to announce the availability of Small Business Administration (SBA) grants under the Paul D. Coverdell Drug-Free Workplace Program. The grants are available to provide financial and technical assistance to small businesses seeking to establish drug-free workplace programs.
The Coverdell grants allow for experts in the drug and alcohol testing industry to assist these small companies without a significant financial burden. When the Act was first passed in 1998, DATIA worked to include language that would allow for-profit companies to apply for and utilize the grants, and was instrumental in the reauthorization of these grants for 2005.
Interested parties should visit http://www.grants.gov to apply for the grants. First time applicants must register with this website and create an institutional profile before viewing the application.
The closing date was June 30, 2005. Please click here to read the full announcement in PDF.
